RULES
Welcome to the Martin Luther King All Children's Talent Show! To ensure a fun, fair, and safe event for all participants, please carefully review and adhere to the following rules:
Open to children aged 5 to 18.
Participants must register by the specified deadline to be eligible to perform.
Each performance must not exceed 3 minutes in length.
All acts must be family-friendly. Content deemed inappropriate or offensive will not be allowed.
Performances can include singing, dancing, instrumental music, theater/drama, poetry/spoken word, or other talents.
Participants are responsible for their own costumes, instruments, and any other necessary props.
No profanity, explicit language, or suggestive themes.
Lyrics, dialogue, and performance content should be suitable for all ages.
Avoid any content that promotes violence, discrimination, or any form of hate speech.
Special requirements (e.g., microphones, piano, CD player) must be requested on the registration form.
Participants should provide their music tracks on a USB drive or CD, clearly labeled with their name and track number.
Backup copies of music tracks are recommended.
Participants must attend the scheduled rehearsal to familiarize themselves with the stage and technical setup.
Check-in for the talent show will begin 1 hour before the event start time. Participants must check in at least 30 minutes before their scheduled performance.
Performances will be judged on originality, talent, stage presence, and overall impression.
The decision of the judges is final.
The grand prize for the talent show is $100.
Participants and their supporters are expected to conduct themselves in a respectful and sportsmanlike manner.
Disruptive behavior will result in disqualification and removal from the event venue.
By participating, you consent to photos and videos of the performances being taken and used for promotional purposes by the event organizers.
The organizers are not responsible for any injuries or accidents that may occur during rehearsals or the talent show.
